I wasn't sure if those were attached to her or not, those horns. If she did have hair... would it be straight? or wavy? or would she have crinkley taylor swift hair? 

Ah, fair question. I bet she would have long, dark brown hair. and If she wasn’t green, she might be albino. but with dark eyes. Also, she would be me. 

so I'm sitting here pondering what kind of hair Maleficent has. 

She does not have hair, but black horns.
